Influencer Terms of Service

Effective date: July 22, 2026 · Version 2026-07-22

These terms are an agreement between you (the creator or referral partner, “you,” “influencer”) and bookedby (“we,” “us,” “the platform”). By creating an influencer account you agree to these terms.

1. What you get

bookedby gives you tracked referral links to partner venues. When someone who arrived through your link submits an event inquiry at a venue, and that event is later booked, completed, and paid, you earn a commission — a percentage of the revenue the venue actually collected for that event.

2. Commission rates

Each partner venue sets its own commission offer (shown on your dashboard, typically around 5% of collected event revenue). Your rate is locked when your referral is credited: if a venue changes its offer later, referrals you already earned keep the rate that was in effect when they were credited to you.

3. How credit works

Credit follows a last-click policy within a 90-day window: if a guest clicks your link and then another influencer's link, the most recent click before the inquiry gets the credit. Inquiries are matched to you via your link, promo code, or email from a tracked visit; less certain matches go to a human review queue instead of being credited automatically. Every credit decision is recorded — this is also how disputes get resolved.

4. When you get paid

A referral becomes payable only after the whole chain completes: the inquiry books, the event happens, the venue collects payment, and the venue confirms its monthly statement. Pipeline states on your dashboard (inquired, contracted, completed, collected, payable, paid) show where each referral stands. Inquiries that never book, or events that cancel, earn nothing. Payouts are currently manual (ACH) after commissions reach payable. Once a payout is marked paid it is final; corrections are handled as adjustments on later statements.

5. Taxes

You are an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of bookedby or of any venue. You are responsible for your own taxes. For US payouts we may require a completed W-9 before releasing payment, and we may issue a 1099 where required by law.

6. What you may not do

No self-referrals or fake inquiries; no bidding on venue brand keywords or impersonating venues; no spam or misleading promotion; no manipulating tracking (cookie stuffing, forced clicks, incentive schemes that generate junk inquiries). Violations can void pending commissions and close your account.

7. Disclosure

You must comply with advertising disclosure rules that apply to you (for example FTC endorsement guidelines in the US): make clear when you have a financial relationship with a venue you promote.

8. Guest privacy

You will never receive guests' names, emails, phone numbers, or event details through bookedby — only counts, pipeline states, and commission amounts. Do not attempt to identify or contact guests who booked through your links.

9. Your public page and content

If you enable a public favorites page, you are responsible for its content (bios, blurbs, spot recommendations). We may remove content that is unlawful or misleading and may reclaim handles that impersonate others.

10. Term and termination

You can close your account at any time. Commissions already credited and moving through the pipeline remain payable when their events complete and collect, unless they resulted from conduct that violates section 6. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

11. Disclaimers and liability

bookedby is provided as-is during the pilot. We do not guarantee any earnings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the commissions owed to you that remain unpaid.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be versioned and you will be asked to accept the new version before it applies to you. The version you accepted, and when, is recorded with your account.

13. Contact

Questions and disputes: contact the bookedby team directly.
